Save the Date: STL Showcase Live Music Event at Red Flag Venue on Friday July 31st 2026!
The STL Showcase will feature James Tyler and the Usual Crowd bringing southern rock and blues to the audience. Inner Outlines will bring high energy alternative rock with a passionate edge. And topping off the bill of talent performing that night will be high energy ska-punk from the ‘Land of the Fools’ EP by Rum Luck. A Portrait Life will close out the night of music at the STL Showcase.

The production of the STL Showcase has been provided by Code One Productions and will feature 4 very talented local artists that span across several genres including alternative, punk and ska. These underground artists have a very passionate fan base and fans will be able to see the talents of James Tyler and the Usual Crowd, Inner Outlines, Rum Luck and A Portrait Life in a close-quarters, all-ages environment that will be very interactive. The price of admission for this event is $32 or more.
James Tyler and the Usual Crowd is a local Rock band from Middle of Somewhere, Illinois that performs Americana, roots-inspired music with heart. Their music is a mix of folk, country, rock and pop all wrapped up in a sincere, heart-felt package. The band has been performing throughout the Southern Illinois region and are sure to deliver an entertaining performance at STL Showcase. The band has been performing their unique sound of music for quite some time now and have gained quite a following. The fans of James Tyler and the Usual Crowd praise the band for their ability to deliver a unique and exciting performance each and every time they take the stage. As the band continues to perform throughout the region, they are gaining more and more recognition for their ability to deliver a high quality performance. Central Illinois/St. Louis-based 5-piece alternative emo rock band Inner Outlines. They draw heavily from emotional and personal themes and attempt to connect deeply with fans through their work. Some of the song titles of theirs include “Gravity”, “Outlines”, and again “Outlines”. Their album “Endeavor” is one of the band’s latest releases. The band brings a unified and well-established show to each of their performances. They have been heavily influenced by well known bands such as The Used, Foo Fighters, and Fall Out Boy.
Rum Luck - This St. Louis, MO ska-punk, skate-punk, and pop-punk band with a high amount of energy put into their music and live shows are performing at events all over the local scene. The band consists of 5 members, and are extremely young, but already have created an EP, ‘Land of the Fools’ that contains a large amount of extremely catchy songs. They have been performing again as a band since May of 2023, and have returned to the local scene in full force bringing extreme amounts of high energy to every show they perform at. Fans of punk music with a modern twist are encouraged to check out this local group, as they bring fans back to the 1990s with the extremely catchy and fun music that groups such as Sublime, No Doubt, Reel Big Fish, and many others created for their fans.
The STL Showcase will be wrapping up the month of July with a special production put on by Code One Productions on the final Friday of July 2026 at Red Flag located in St. Louis, Missouri.
